Does anyone know if the Cars 3 releases of Flo, Mater, Sarge, Fillmore, Red, etc. are new sculpts, variants or are they the same vehicles as already released in Cars 1/Cars 2 and just repackaged in Cars 3 packaging?  I've been holding off on buying the Cars 3 versions assuming they will just be the 15th Sarge and 27th Mater we will have in our collections.  Any details anyone can provide related to any of these old standby characters is greatly appreciated.

I can't say for sure, as I too have not bought any of the new versions. But, the ones in the 10/5 pack sets seem to be exactly like the old versions; Guido, Luigi, Fillmore, Sally, Sarge, and Tex Dinoco.

I can't see Mattel making all new tooling for old characters, unless they hype it, like the forthcoming "Sally with new expression".

After all, gas can is my middle name … eh, not really
