Has anyone seen this guy hanging on the pegs yet? If so, where? We haven't opened Kingpin yet, and it would be cool to open them together.

Nothing yet. What's really weird is I never received the cases I ordered from Mattel either, yet most other resellers did get theirs. 😕

Which version of Pinion Tanaka does everyone like better? The grey one in the early photos or the same color as Kingpin with just a blue diaper?

I definitely like the Kabuki dancer with the parasol, seen in NascarFans's SDCC pics! Was Pinion Tanaka grey or tan colored in the movie? I've seen it 4 times now, but haven't noticed that detail. Anyway, I hope he's grey with a clean, blue diaper.

I think they were the same color in the movie. During the Sumo wrestling scene, I was trying to figure out which one was Kingpin and I didn't see a grey wrestler. Even though Pinion is the same color as Kingpin, that will be the movie accurate one. I like the Kabuki dancer with the umbrella too. Can't wait to get her. I have the pink and blue one hanging out with the Tokyo Mater cars.

I am thinking he will be the same fleshy color as Kingpin just a with the different color "diaper."
Something to pondeer though … sumo wrestlers are normally NAKED aside from the diaper … so … in theory … shouldn't they be GREY or SILVER … . the color of a naked … or in Kabuto's case … STOCK Car????? Bare metal …. right??? Hmmmmmm will the great mysteries of the Cars universe ever be solved???

I'm glad Pinion is coming out soon. Hopefully it won't take a long time for it to show up here.
Pinion's Bio on the Disney website says "Pinion Tanaka is a GOLD PAINTED Micro Van and a Professional Sumo Wrestler in Tokyo, Japan, who's always a menacing sight in the ring with his signature Teal Mawashi." So it will be wrong if it is painted grey.

Just saw the movie again last Tuesday. Pinion Tanaka is the same color as Kingpin just with a blue diaper. He also wins that round of the match by knocking Kingpin out of the circle!

Thanks! I couldn't remember who won the Sumo Match. I hope Matell makes that purple referee Car. He seems really neat!
