Am I the only one who thinks the Mattel casting of 'Sarge' is too big? I've done numerous comparisons in the films, and to me, the Tomy Takara version of 'Sarge' is not only better scaled to the Mattel 'Fillmore', but the Tomy 'Sarge' has better color match and correct sergeant's stripe colors.
True, it limits you to having just a plain 'Sarge', but I did modify one to use the fuel canister of "Pit Crew Sarge", and a little piece of wire and bending the axles would give you "Saluting Sarge".
In that same vein, I think the Mattel 'Sarge' is actually pretty close to correct size to match the Disney Store 'Fillmore'.

I think you'll go crazy trying to find logic in the scale of Cars, and toys in general. Mattel generally upsizes the toys to justify the cost.

LOL How much do we spend annually on these toys? Of course we've gone crazy, and we like it!
