Looking for a little help here.  My son has lost intrest in his cars and we are looking to get rid of them.  While looking on ebay I came across a Mater that he has that is supposedly very rare.  I can not find another one like it anywhere and that seller wants $200 for it.  It is a blue mater with black block letter on the side that spell out "Mater" with white cursive "Radiator Springs" underneath.

Has anyone seen a Mater like this?  If so what is is proper name and is it really that hard to find?  Also is it really worth $200?

They usually go for about $30 on eBay. This Mater came In a playset that did not sell well when it came out, piles of them were closed out by KB Toys at $10.

They are fairly rare now. It's actually called "Rollin' Bowlin' Mater". I'd imagine the one for sale for $200 is still in a sealed game- although it's still a ripoff. As long as it is intact (the tow cable and mirrors are usually the first to go), you should be able to get, as John said, around $30 for it. Good luck.

Isn't there a carded rolling bowling mater that came with the 2006 factory sealed set.  it is my understanding that if that is the case, $200 is a bargain.

If it is loose…I dunno.

Yeah, if it's the carded one that's a big deal and rare.

Sounds to me like this one is loose so $30 sounds right.
