The playmat was marked down to $10 from $18. Comes with an "exclusive Sponsorless McQueen". Very nice quality workmanship. Has a seam right down the center of the hood. BobbyJack asked me what it transformed into. The wheels don't roll either. So he lets his little sister play with it.
I have to admit, I have just as much if not more fun playing too.

While watching the Saints/Packers, BobbyJack decided to start lining up all his McQueens along the table…
So I wondered if we had more Maters than McQueens…
We had 21 of each. Just thought that was kind of cool.
Still have some unopened, but I think as this Cars 2 line keeps rolling, the Maters will outnumber the McQueens pretty soon.

Here are our shelves of Pixar Cars, Heavy Metal, Rescue Squad, UFM, and Mater the Greater Cars…
Here are our Impounds, DS Frank and Tractors, El Matordor, and Tokyo Mater Cars…
We set these up a few weeks ago, but I was waiting to post them until we opened up our last Toons Car today; Props McGee! Still need a few but no Toons cars left in reserve as of right now.

Awesome! I love the Wall-E collection too. Are they the Disney Store figurines, or the bigger action figures? I've never seen the other robots before, like the security dude and the two other minor characters. So which Cars car is Jr's very favorite thus far?

They are the Wall*E Disney Store Figurines. Got them around summer of 2010 at the same time we bought Paddy O'Concrete. The box was smashed so they were selling it for $3 and the figures were fine. Have had to glue the base back on to EVE a few times. It is hard to say which one is his favorite because he opens a new one every couple of days. At this moment, it would probably be Props McGee, (he calls it the Mater the Greater plane), but I still think he plays with Francesco the most right now.

Oh, cool. Good price for those. The bigger, moveable Wall-E action figures were pretty neat too. We got a lot of mileage out of the Wall-E version from which you could form & eject play-dough garbage blocks.
So Francesco it is, eh? Manifold Jr. was heavily into the Cars 2 bad guys and good guys for several months, but lately he has been setting up race scenes again. Yesterday, Fred Fisbowski was caught in a popsicle-stick and twist-tie trap and forced to watch the piston cup race. Mario Andretti ended up pulling through for the win, over Francesco, McQueen, Chick, and everyone. Tow pulled a lot of cars out of wreckage. Tia loved it. I'm really not sure which Cars to reveal for upcoming prizes and holidays, as now he just wants Blu-Ray McQueen (he saw the collector guide – ugh) and Detective Mater(!). Have fun!

My wife got me two of the 100 car Carney plastic cases for Christmas to put my son's cars in. They arrived today and were too big to fit under the Christmas tree. So after the kids went to bed, I set them up.
I will let BobbyJack know his Elf on the Shelf was busy last night.

Those are great, does the front of it close up? Your son is going to flip when he notices all the cars missing from the shelfs…..

He still has a set of the WGP, the Spy cars, and the lemons are out to play with. Those are the ones he mostly plays with now. All the haulers, Wrestlin' Monster trucks, and all the aircraft are still on the loose too. Along with the Sumo trucks and other deluxe sized cars. Might need to ask them for the oversized mega/deluxe case for Father's day.

2011 year end update…
Christmas is over but BobbyJack's Birthday is still coming up. We added Ramone's House of Body Art to our Radiator Springs set-up thanks to Snosno.
Then we added on to our Mater Tales/Cars 2 action playset collection too.
Right after we opened up The Wrastlin' Ring, The Tormentor broke his tailhook off, so now he is just for Wrastlin' and we had to take our extra one of the Trading block to go in our display.
We will post our other new additions after BobbyJack's birthday in a couple of weeks.

He went to his first Monster Truck show when he was 2 and watches Monster Jam on Speed Channel. We have about 20 of the Rev N Go Trucks. The soft rubber tires and plastic bodies are a little better for rough play. They are in a pretty good scale with Monster Truck Mater cars too. We went to the Monster Jam show in Baltimore last summer and they just started showing that one on TV. He just started getting the smaller diecast ones and has about 3 so far. I let his mom get those for him, while I will stick to hunting for Disney Cars and Transformers.

Here is our hauler collection to date.
