Here is what I call our "Poor Man's Motor Speedway of the South"…
It has been pieced together over the last 18-20 months with a nice mix of plastic and rubber tire cars plus a really neat custom we just picked up. I displayed them in the M2 cases that were just recently clearanced at our local Walmart. I see that the overhead lighting cast a nice glare over Tachomint, but he is there. Rubber tires and all. I'm just not a professional photographer. I will post other stuff later as we continue to open the rest of our Cars 1 stuff. Still have about a dozen left still in the package that we haven't gotten to yet.

These are our Wrastling Cars! They get played with quite often and this display gets put back up a few times a day.
Our haulers are there too. Lenty McQueen, Chick Hicks, and King now reside inside their trailers. We have Paul also, but haven't opened him yet.

This looks great displayed in the M2 boxes! We have a poor man's SOTS too, less the Apple car, but half of it is hidden away in a box. The rest is in action on the carpet. I'm bringing them out very slowly; I think it helps Jr. appreciate them.
What do you think of the quality of your custom Apple? How is it put back together, with JB Weld, rivets or screws? Can you feel the edges of the decals as you run your finger over the body? We are going to make one eventually, but I think I need more capital to make it look decent.
Cool collection.

I think the quality is really good. Of course I have never seen or held a "real" Apple car so I don't have anything to compare it to. I didn't spend very much on it because it is for a 3 year old to play with. When it arrived, I was very impressed and my wife wasn't so upset about me spending that much on a toy car because she thought it was really cool too. Couldn't tell you what it was put back together with, but the guy that made it did a really good job. It wasn't Wentworth bolts, that's about all I can tell.

Here is a perfect example of why Sheriff does not want Mater to go Tractor Tipping…
StarScream and Ravage have chased Mater and McQueen all the way back to Radiator Springs! Unfortunatly, it looks like they will need more than just Bessie to fix the town when this is resolved.

Scary! It looks like McQueen's tongue is gettting squished out of his mouth, and Mater isn't laughing about this chase.
Hey, thanks for the scoop on the Apple car. If you don't mind me asking, is that a ShopLucky purchase?

Love the Apple set.
It would have been great if Mattel made this set…oh well that would be too much to ask

I thought Tongue McQueen and Chase Mater with Lamp would be good for that picture.
Not a ShopLucky custom. Too expensive for a 3 year old to crash!

Great, Great, GREAT pics from everyone here! I would showcase my small Collection if I could, get a new Camera or fix the one that I have, and find out how to put pictures on here.

Here is what we have opened from Cars 2 so far…
The Lemons, Security Guard Finn, Finn w/ machine gun, Miles, Mater w/ Bomb, and my son's personal favorite: Zen Master Pitty!
Here's the Kabuki Dancers, Wasabi Mater, McQueen's Pit crew, Uncle Topolino, and the spies.
Here are our ten World Grand Prix race cars. For some reason, I thought there was supposed to be eleven. Maybe that will correct itself in the next few months. We still have about five 2 packs and about 6 deluxes left to open. Hopefully we will find some new releases before we finish opening those. Just got the WGP rug on clearance at Walmart today and you can see, BobbyJack has set up his new World Grand Prix course.

That's a nice play mat. I don't remember seeing it at our WalMart, how much was it?
