This is where his loose are supposed to be kept but besides this giant bin there are probably another 75 Cars all about the house

LOL @ Chris. That is a good point.
When we hit 400 loose Cars we decided that it was time to let some stay in the package. He has a lot of these that are packaged so he doesnt complain to mich but the ones he doesnt have are the ones he tells me "I don have them dad". I try to explain that he does since they are both of ours but it's all a sly try to keepm him content.  He really enjoys seeing whats in the packages and his first question is "Is it for me or for you?" and again I explain they are both ours but opening = his and in package = dad's.. in his eyes. When they come he gets a kick out of putting them somewhere on the shelves and when we have company he likes to show them off. My friends tell him how impressive it is and they tell me what a dork I am.

I was at a friend's house the other night and his 35 year-old cousin's room-size collection of Star Wars stuff came up. They all laughed about what a dork he is. I decided not to mention our Cars collection

2 Questions:
1.) When DID you reach 400? Do you remember what Car/Cars?
2.) How do you have so many?! Of course, Trading will have to do with it, I know, but I bet when/if I start Trading I still won't have that many!
But anyway, FANTASTIC Collection!

I pick and choose who I tell about my collection. Lol. Its terrible. I might not want to mention ot in a job interview. J/k. Im proud of what we havec collected but unless your a collector yourself its hard for them to understand. I explain it as a investment.
We have a close round about guess of 400. I dont know if you saw the Xmas pics I took last Christmas. What Santa was bringing Mason. It will never be repeated …..ever. lol. Thats how we got to the round about 400. Met posted them. We opened Cars from Santa for almost an hour and a half. Santa out dis himself.

Love the collection. We have about 200-225 loose. Some 15-20 still in the package to be opened and just a few that won't be opened anytime soon which you guys saw yesterday. I know if we had as many carded as you did, BobbyJack would be chomping at the bit to open them. Our carded ones are still pretty well hiden. It is funny though when BobbyJack is done playing with his Cars, he knows where they are supposed to go back on the shelves. Everyone we know who has seen our Car collection has been pretty impressed, shouldn't be embarassed by it. Having a hobby is good thing. Even better when it is something you can do with your kids.

Sweet pictures! There was a time where we had 3 collections in the house … so glad it is down to 2 collections!! Both of them are open .. one displayed and one played! Keep that collection growing!! Promise we won't tell anyone else about your extensive collection …. um … I mean investment
