Had a bad experience with this guy, even though I helped him in the past, now it comes to this, 2nd. time he fails.
Ordered a JL truck from Carsland from him 45 days ago and I still didn't received the truck or the refund of $175.
I can't make a claim on paypal becuase it was sent as "gift" so beware guys when you do…better to pay the fees than nothing.
He claims he sent the truck but bounced back. Never actually did, he is full of excuses and my patience reached its limit.
He claims he has no money to pay back, but hasn't ship the item either. I needed the trcuk 4 weeks ago not now, who knows the condition it is.
Also blamed me for all this drama because I'm a take5ever…what??? He had a problem a while ago with a take5aday guy and because I post here, I'm the problem. He has an excuse for everything. Main thing is; totally irresponsible for not sending the item 4 weeks ago.
He barely posts here, mainly he does on CTT, but had to report him so it won't happen to anyone else.

The guy must have the worst post office. I've got a pair of FFM's that I have absolutely no use for, now, that have been "bounced back" 4 times. I check for updates every now and again mainly for entertainment purposes.

Is he an eBay seller too, or is this a common problem? Sounds like the same excuse/ lack of explanation I'm getting on an eBay auction I won over a month ago with nothing mailed out. Just an empty tracking number.

for your information, just to clarify.
Musicnywu1 has not posted much on Carsthetoys.com anytime recently, and he hasn't posted much in the last 6 months. He did post a couple of days ago in the selling forum Curio Shop to sell that truck you no longer wanted. I can't speak for him but was he trying to sell that truck to get the money to pay you back.?
I believe he mainly posts or posted on PixarCarsdiecast facebook
admin for CTT.

Sorry to hear about this. I hope you get your money back.
I almost bought/traded with him a few weeks ago but luckily for me it never went ahead. He went silent for 2 weeks and just got back to me recently.
I would not have hesitated to do payment as a gift after seeing more than 7500 posts on CTT by him.

Not to pile on but I guess I am since I'm posting but had some communication issues/shadiness dealing with him recently as well but I was on the selling end.
He asked for 4 cars and a 2-pack that I had. We agreed to a price and he sent me his mailing address. I told him I would send as soon as he sent payment. He said he had issues with his Paypal that needed to get resolved. A few weeks went by so I asked if he still wanted and he said got his paypal fixed but I had to wait until Friday. So I wrote back over the weekend and then he gave me the same Paypal issue excuse so I just forgot about it and wasn't going to deal anymore.
A week before D23, he emails me asking if I can get him a Convoy Bros set and that he can send paypal immediately. Umm…I don't think I will be willing to help after the last payment fiasco.
Like others, was willing to give the benefit of the doubt since he had lots of posts but gave up after while. Thanks for wasting my time.

I had the same exact experience. Was going to sell him 5 cars. He didn't pay when he said he would. After I checked with him a week later, he said he still wanted them but had Paypal issues and would send Friday. Never got anything, so no cars sent and no more dealing with him.

I haven't experienced anything with him on eBay, as I usually only buy stuff for my Thomas collection on there, but I've heard about issues with this seller elsewhere.

He spent the money, on buying bought the truck for her, then he tried to sell it when she did not want the truck after all the delays in shipment.
Its a sad situation. I have had many good trades over the years with him but that's in the past.

To clarify:
He is an old trader in CTT, and may not be a "bad" person, but when doing business he needs a lesson 101.
Imagine if you pay something right away, you want the item in a week or so, right?
His excuses were always the same, can't get to the PO on time. Or "the item came back to me". But he could of drove 1.5hs to my house and deliver it himself, or meet at some point.
Yes, he tried to sell the truck in 3 days after I gave him an ultimatum telling him I needed the money now since this truck was for a friend who needed it more than 4 weeks ago. Of course it didn't sell and he kept telling me he will send it when I said I don't want it anymore.
So after 6 weeks and all this drama I finally received the truck today!
Outer black box has some wear/dents but what can I expect after all this time…

Glad you were able to get something out of the whole ordeal even though you don't need the truck anymore. At least you aren't out both the truck AND the cash.
<insert sarcasm font> As for the outer box, what can you expect after it was returned to him so many times by the post office. Typical T5-er issue. <end sarcasm font>
