These guys with a lot of time and money have converted 1:64 diecasts of “everything from American stock cars to bubble economy-era Japanese sport compacts and modern supercars—representing Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and Tomica” and put them in one race to determine the champion of all time …

The real Hudson Hornet looks pretty amazing, I’ve never actually seen one on the streets … 1951 until 1954 when Hudson merged with Nash-Metropolitan to become AMC. This would be fun to with CARS … Of course, the Careers Disney Pixar CARS are pretty cool – you just need to build a to scale background.

Very cool, first released in 1960, I think … I had the tow truck but not this playset, I feel so deprived!  🙂

Guess they were not so great in the real world? Never actually got to drive one and I think they were all broke down by 1978? I’m not sure I’ve even seen one actually out in the wild … anyone with experience with one?  

It’s nice to know the Disney Store is still releasing new CARS products … CARS 2 lemons, 1:43 scale. And a pullback JP Drive, the 1:43 Apple car from CARS 3.
