“Tank Coat, Shifty Drug and Vitoline Launchers have turned up in the UK at Sainsbury’s Stores and the best thing is they are presently priced wrong. The cars are £7.99 on the shelf but are scanning at £3.99.. who knows how long that will last though.”
£3.99 is actually cheaper than the US so you know something is wrong there :0-)
Other than the obligatory legalese requirement differences, minimal changes to the packaging and none to the CARS …

Rippers – which sainsburys was this?
just got back from my local sainsbury’s (Larkfield, Kent.) no launchers and the shelf plan from the 22nd does not show them either. Only things they had was a selection from one of the 24 in a case assortment WOC, ROR movie moments and ROR mack old style.

Can’t be too envious. The US had $3 Megasized not too long ago, and singles are down to $2.97 again.

Singles at $2.97? If you can find them! Three Wal*Marts today turned up totally dry, except for Night Vision. Wal*Mart at South Hill (WA) did have a case of haulers. Some other big boxes at the Damaged King/Greta assortment, but, nothing newer. 🙁

I feel bad for the Completists, having to buy all those re-released movie moments on ROR cards…oh well…I guess if I had the $ and the space, I’d be in that boat too… 🙂

Yeah, but that is only about $5.58 US dollars! I paid about $15 for each of my new launchers with shipping… good deal to me!
I paid CAD $14.99 + tax at the store (Z)for each one, and only because no other store is offering them.

Sorry – it was 10.99 – 14.99 was the 3-packs, which I smartly passed on. Still, it’s getting pricy, considering they used to be $8.92. I knew it didn’t sound right after I posted!
