Variant within the MSOS set?

Underneath, is your pouty-aggro Dale Jr. with WHITE SIGNATURE © 2007 Dale Jr?

Mine from the MSOS set looks like the top one with Dale Jr. sig in white so presumably, this one is the non-variant “correct” version.

Or does it look like this one below? Same date code but there is NO Dale Jr. © signature so it’s safe to say it’s incorrect and the variant.

I have an open Supercharged Dale Jr. and it has the date code under the under the front bumper area like the correct one but the top signature & © flat area is all in black and not in white … (and of course, it was produced a year earlier) so it’s not like they grabbed an “old” Dale Jr. base plate but apparently just grabbed a typical baseplate for this body (since Dale Jr. switched bodies) for this special MSOS exclusive Dale Jr. and then realized somewhere along the line …

So, the body directly above with the date code stamped near the right door and with only the © Disney Pixar 2008 is the WRONG and variant version.

Maybe now the crazy Motor Speedway of the South set will be worth something … 🙂

So, yea, good luck getting much more than $1,500 as is the going price but hey, you never know … everybody chime in – what does your Dale Jr. look like?
