Aussies are a tough lot …

So, when they were mentioned earlier in year there were not many CARS to buy, that probably meant they were 100% stripped of CARS and they were in the jaws of an crocodile …

(yea, okay – we believe everything we see in movies starring Paul Hogan).

But Sean C. reports in that things are looking up …

“As you may or may not know, I’m one of the unlucky Australian collectors that are pretty much forced to import anything cars related that was released “post-Case K” last year, (Chuki’s first release I believe). Anyway, you would not believe my utter jaw-dropping surprise when I walked into the toy aisle of my closest K-Mart and found before me a number of megasize releases. I took a couple of photo’s on my phone (sorry about the quality), but you can see Gray Hauler, Marco, Barney Stormin. There was also the Chick Hicks Cab and Al Loft Blimp. Unfortunately there was no Dustin Mellows which I already have, but my three year old cousin is dying for. Also, due to the prementioned importing, I only bought an Al Loft, (never intended on getting him since already had the original, but after seeing it in real life, it’s MASSIVE) as I already had Marco and Barney, and saving for the Haulers, rather then just the cabs (although seeing them there tested my resolve :P)

Another note, I’m not entirelly clued in with the Mini releases, but as you can see in the photos there are also some Red with Haulers, which I haven’t seen before either.

So for the Australian collectors, this was at a K-Mart on the Eastern side of Melbourne in Victoria. I rang up a number of other K-Marts, plus a Toys R Us but to no avail. That being said, hopefully it’s a sign of things to come.”

And note, the King Semi Megasized one won’t be shipping for another couple weeks in the US so … that makes up for no new singles for 6 months, right? Hey and the pullbacks look nice … and untouched by human hands for 3 years just like here in the US 😉

Are those the TYC Tins or the capsules I spot in the bottom left … better hurry and grab those for selling or trading to US fans 🙂

And look, the least likely CAR (well, flying craft) NOT available on Race O Rama card in the US yet …

Yep, Al Oft is NOT scheduled for US Race O Rama card release for at least another 3 CASES … so let me help out our Aussie brothers (and sisters) in hyping this to the eBay Hills 🙂
