Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Mighty Mack to Nano Gasaphon Mack
From the beginning of CARS, the diecast line, we have had always had Mack … mainly because he’s a great character but also because the “real” Mack Superliner is such a great and iconic design of what a TRUCK should be.
The first release was essentially at the same time as the singles, the Mack with Bachelor Pad Mack – he was scaled though the trailer wasn’t – while Mack was all in plastic – he was sturdy and detailed. Through 2006, 2007 and through most of 2008. Big plastic Mack was the standard bearer of Mack – he looked good even if the car carrier or especially the Mega playtown set was either way too big or just not canon …
Then in the waning days of 2008, finally – a diecast Mack and immediately TWO …
Mack Hauler & Mack Megasized …
And of course MINI Mack …
And now, Gashapon Mack … (though not from Mattel),
And now, all together …
That’s Big Daddy Mack, Mack, Mack III and Baby Mack … (or Mack, Megasize/Hauler Mack, MINI Mack & Gasaphon Mack).
Lined up head to head …
And of course for those who prefer their Mack to TOWER over McQueen … Here’s Big Daddy Mack & Gasaphon McQueen …
