    Hey y’all.
Did you know that Nat McLugnut plays drums in his spare-time. I found a small metal model Drum kit for him so that he can fill-in as the drummer with Eddie and Rocky. Both Eddie and Rocky have the ‘Nitro Aid Toolbox’ amplifiers.
I should send Met an image of the band.
Now all I need to do is create Flo and Ramone’s garage so they have a practice space.

These really are pretty cool. I wasn’t going to collect any but I saw the release with the drummer and I’m thinking that I have the Heavy Metal Mater 4 pack, which includes the 2 guitarists, so maybe I could paint the drummer to match the one from the video. It would be fun to see what I can come up with.

Or convert him to the Pitty playing in Mater and the Gas Caps. Remove his hat, paint him orange, paint the guitar body red, and add a “Pallets Galore” decal. You could do the same for the green Pitty, but you’d need a left handed guitar for him.

Yeah-that is a great idea! I know you have done some excellent customizations that I have seen looking over older posts here. You have done some great work.

Yes, Mack_me_Bucko! You certainly are a living legend! I think I remember you saying you were a professional modeler?

          • Mack_me_Bucko says:

Living legend? Oh crikey, not even in my wildest fantasies — but thank you just the same. Yes, I was a professional model builder and model railroad kit manufacturer from around mid-1984 until 2004, when I quit the business. I only model for myself now. Professional burn-out mainly, since the question may arise. In the present, eyesight issues are starting to creep in as I age.

            • Real Gone says:

Wow-that is so great. A dream job for me back in the day. I got to where I felt good about my skills but I would’ve needed to really raise the bar and build a LOT more models before I could have ever approached that type of level.

I haven’t really built anything in many years and I am really feeling the pull to get back into building models as I miss it very much.

I also wanted to congratulate you for the career you had. I admire people who are able to combine their passion with their work. That is something I hope to accomplish someday as well.

              All the best,
              Real Gone
