I believe this is the driest year of Cars released since the beginning in 2006… That does not smell very good…. with 3 movies under the belt and especially Cars 3 is only one year old… there is no good reasons to let this product go down like this…

Met, any information on why the Disney/Pixar Cars webpages have disappeared from Mattel’s website? They’re just gone, dead. Is the Mattel license / contract in renewal, or has John Lasseter’s ouster from the company wiped Cars out as a supported franchise?
(MET: I don’t know any specific news but the license was renewed a few years ago – presumably continual with an out from either side with some notice but there’s nothing other than the TRU malaise that should affect this line … but after SDCC, I’ll try and reach out and see if I get a response).
