Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 3: Cars 3 Lee Revkins, Transberry Juice – Same as It Ever Was?

I just bought this yesterday and did a close comparison. The new release is a flat windshield so a new variant.
So is it the same vehicle or is it different from the original? Look closely the one on the right has a shadow line behind the eyes. Is that the new version?
Yes, it’s 2018 Cars 3 packaging, but the car toy itself is Lee Revkins as seen in Cars 1 — he doesn’t appear in Cars 3 at all. Marcus Krankzler and Bubba Wheelhouse do.
No, this is definitely from the new design Cars 3 Card with the stripe on the left hand side of the card.
I should add, “Marcus Krankzler” is the 2nd Gen TJ driver — not Lee Revkins, but Lee Revkins has been released in the 2018 line-up (as he was in cars 1). And “Bubba Wheelhouse” is the Next Gen driver for TJ.
Nico A appears to have two Cars 1 “Lee Revkins” there. The Cars 3 version is significantly different.
