Great news – PLANES diecasts are confirmed for 2017! The recent list of 2016 releases has been updated with a new product code and pics of prototypes … it’s more likely they’ll get released now that Mattel has secured the CARS diecast license for 2017 and beyond.

Yay!!! This makes me happy!!!!!!! The green plane is named Croix Cartwright and the seaplane is Elizabeth. Super excited and can’t wait to see them, keep the planes coming and can’t wait for the 3rd movie! I know people have so many doubts, but I have faith…haha…its a great movie and kids love planes, I go to so many air shows and see kids with a Dusty in their hand!

Seeing as ALL the entries and references to ‘Planes 3’ have been completely scrubbed from IMDb, I doubt we’ll ever see a third film — other than maybe as a direct-to-video offering, if even that.
(MET: The diecasts look like they are pretty much mostly from PLANES 2).
I’m still waiting to see if we ever get the Tractor “Doe” from Planes 2 …
(MET: I’ll double check to see if it’s on the list).
Even if direct to dvd, Id LOVE to see a 3rd movie, I’ll take it!
