Snot Rod’s Carburetor Scoop Blower & engine has changed colors.
It used to be a darker – more correct – as the screenshots show a darker engine.
Older typical Snot Rod.
The Impound Snot Rod engine color was Snot Rod’s engine color also. When Snot Rod with Flames was released, it was definitely a lighter color but Snot Rod now has a pale gray engine.
Was this the Snot Rod’s engine released last year?

These are the small little changes that the eye picks up on. In the past they seemed to be more detailed. Maybe that’s why many are not drawn to the new Cars being released. It’s the attention to detail that has made the line so successful. The vibrant paint, the little details on the wheels and body, the scale and sculpting. Don’t go cheap on us Mattel! We’re always watching!
For old stand-bys designs, they do seem to have cheapened them over time; but one the new ones like the Paris Parts Market truck and wagon, the race fans, and the clunkers, I think Mattel is still doing a great job in detail and character personality. These are after all, mass market children’s toys, so Mattel could have made them even cheaper and cruddier all along.
I remember a SNOT ROD early version with white plate!
