Happy New Year Met,
Its like mountains I suppose. This has been on our national news with the mangled wreck being lifted from the lake recently. I can report that the tandem sky-divers on-board including the pilot all bailed out safely but as mentioned sadly the plane was totaled.
(MET: Yea, for once, that’s a good plane engine problem … I did read to make sure the pilot had a chute and not have to do a James Bond and jump out to catch someone).
I’ve jumped from a perfectly good airplane – it was a blast! Happy 30th! Surprisingly there was no sensation of falling – a lot of wind during the free fall. When the parachute deployed, during the descent my instructor and I could carry on a conversation.
