Disney Planes Fire & Rescue: Disney Store Mayday
“Mack Me Bucko” & “John H.” sends along great pics of Disney Store’s Mayday.
Nice looking scaled to Mattel’s Lightning McQueen.
Disney Store Chug.
Sweet looking details.
Appropriately “used.”
Just looks right.
The Disney Store one has a fun bumper detail.
Sized next to DS Ryker & Mattel Red.
Nice! Thanks for the great pics, “Mack Me Bucko” & “John H.”
You can check out all the Disney Store Planes Fire & Rescue diecasts here.
John H. also notes – Front bumper is metal, back is rubber; Rubber/vinyl: bell, nozzle, glasses, hoses, lights; Metal: cab, body, chassis, fenders, running boards; Plastic: tires – thanks, John H!
For comparison, here’s the Mattel version (he also has the black glasses – not in this photo).
“Keep Back 50 Feet” should be “Keep Back 50 Treadmarks” or something like that. I mean really, who has feet in the worlds of Cars and Planes?
And the Red shown is also Disney Store, not Mattel. ( ‘tho the DS/Mattel Reds are the same scale)
John
Oops, Met; the Mayday I sent pics of (the topmost two images in this post) is the Mattel Mayday, not the Disney Store version … Only Chug in the two images is DS, LMQ is Mattel too.
Note the Mattel Mayday I shot has no noticeable gap between cab and body like the Disney Store version images from John H.
I’m also guessing based on the above comparisons that the DS Mayday is somewhat larger than the Mattel Mayday.
