1-How did you do the white walls? I’m guessing they are stickers, maybe that you cut out yourself?
2-What do you use as adhesive? I use epoxy but it gets a little messy sometimes. It looks like you keep part of the plastic frame on it? I took the whole thing off but maybe that way makes it easier.

1. White walls are custom vinyl stickers (like what you see on store front windows or cars). It’s a 3M product I believe all computer cut. I was able to make these at work as my company has it’s own sign shop. I was loosing my mind trying to a. mask + spray (horrible idea) b. testors paints wouldn’t cure on the tire c. Nail polish dried, but still looked really bad. d. You can make your own decals on a inkjet, but who can print in WHITE and the blank white decal sheet is transparent. I am going to make another McQueen because I lost the Red rims on the one pictured due to paint remover from my earlier attempts.
2. Yes I keep the plastic “shocks” part, you will have to modify them to fit each body style, but I think it helps sell the idea. I use the tires from the original cars and a screw through the base to give me a solid glueing lug on the under side of the roof. This allows you to mount the body higher to stay free of the tires as they turn.
Thanks for the info DolphinBoy. I am going to try my next few using your methods and see how it goes. Some of mine are sitting too low and don’t turn as well, so once I perfect the method I will probably redo them, just because I am a bit of a perfectionist that way. Plus I don’t like to see the gobs of glue on the base that some of them have.
I did a Chick Hicks with yellow rims and that one looks really cool. I also have a Nitroade with black rims, Dinoco Chick with white rims, King, Finn with gray rims, Sheriff and one each of a red and silver LMQ. Mater is next for me.
