Lightning, Nigel, Francesco, Max, Rip, Lewis, Miguel, Carla, and Raoul return as singles. I believe Nigel & Carla were skipped as singles though Nigel was available in a 2-pack. Joining these 9 racers are Brent Mustangberger (no headset) and David Hobbscap (also no headset).

Back from around early spring 2012 so if you were willing to wait about 20+ months, you save a few bucks.
“David Hobbscapp” with Headset as a single was released earlier in 2013.
Of course, David Hobbscap, the sculpt is just about the worst looking CARS diecast sculpt ever. JUST AWFUL.
Maybe Mattel will actually spell his name correctly this year.

I wonder if exclusives will be the only way to get most never released cars.
Well, the formula works very well so far… Mattel and stores seems to not bother having poeple swaping the exclusive for another repeat car. I deplore that but nothing will change until the package has a sort of a blister shaped to avoid this sad practice…
It would be way too difficult for them to create a parralel line to bring back the old release I guess…. WAIT they have one parallel line called “Classic” why not using that one ???? Oh well….
Looks like a hideous Jaguar to me…
2013: Raoul was also in a 2-pack with Bruno Motoreau… Not as single.
Nothing to hunt in this group. The 2014 lists are just terrible so far.
