Your Cute Movie-TV Villain Quiz of the Day
From artist Truck Torrence: “Each artist was tasked with creating a piece representative of their favorite cult movie/tv villains. I couldn’t decide which one to do, so I just did all my favorites! Can you name all the movies referenced?”
You can check out a larger version here.
well the only one I am missing is the bearded guy in the top right corner.
The artist emailed me back with a hint. Said he was from a TV show.
My original guess was David Banner from the Incredible Hulk. Thought he looked like Nick Nolte. lol
Not sure what the crazy looking rug is under him.
After doing a bunch of searching for a floor like that on TV shows, the only thing I could find was “Twin Peaks”…something called “The Waiting Room” in it….and the closest “villain” in it that looks like the cartoon is a guy called BOB or Killer BOB…..???
yes! I did the same thing. I stopped searching sci-fi shows, and googled “tv show zig zag floor”. Twin Peaks was the first thing that came up.
woo hoo! I got em all. I can sleep now! lol
I still think he looks more like Nick Nolte lol
Good job! I’d never have guessed anything from Twin Peaks and beardo in the corner had me stumped too. I’m still working on a few.
If you need any hints, just ask. I can tell you the floating head girl is a foreign film. That was the hardest one for me to find.
Norman Stansfield from The Professional.
Drexl Spivey from True Romance (one you said you didn’t have, 5oclockshadow) (notice those are all Gary Oldman right there in that area!).
haha! thanks didn’t notice that. Never seen True Romance or Hannibal.
We also have the Russian boxer from Rocky IV along the right-hand side near the middle. I’m stumped on a good dozen of these guys. And I’ve spent the better part of the week staring at it!
Oh wait! Already mentioned below. My bad.
Nobody said The Joker from Batman???
We need some numbers on these so we can refer to them!
There is a contest now. It has them numbered.

Cool. MET, can you please post the outlined version below the other one, so we have something to reference? I wonder how close we are!
I’m missing 5 right now – the spring-like girl, the bearded guy in the top right corner, the masked guy at Stay Puft’s feet, the guy in the yellow shirt and beret, and the guy smoking the pipe by the tremor worm.
Spring-like girl? The one with the pink stuff beneath her?
yes
The pipe one isn’t Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds, is it?
You’re probably right. I was thinking he was wearing a suit; but it does look like a uniform under a coat.
ok i’ll keep it going.
blue and red faced alien from ‘They Live’ in lower left corner
The Thing from ‘The Thing’
(MET: I guess I will not be selecting movie trivia when competing against you. 🙂 … ).
Ha! I know. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad that I know most of these.
Thanks for posting this by the way. It’s been fun.
The one down and left from Jason Vorhees reminds me of Grand Moff Tarkin from Star Wars?
Who’s left? I don’t know who is left, because I don’t know some of the ones people said below!
A trio at top right are the creepy neighbours from The Burbs.
(MET: That has to be the most obscure one).
Frank Booth from Blue Velvet
and yes.
I finally figured out one I was stuck on.
The basketball player is from Teen Wolf.
Now who is in front of the Blob; and who is throwing the 2 dollars to the bike kid(principal from The Breakfast Club maybe)?
I will also add these –
Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Bill Lumbergh from Office Space.
Someone said Nurse Ratched.
Is that Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket in the bottom right?
yes.
Pinhead from Hellraiser.
Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Zod, Ursa and Non from Superman II (yep, buckland-blowouts!)
T-1000 from Terminator II.
Kahn from Star Trek II, bottom middle?
Sauron and Saruman from LOTR (since no one else said it!)
Michael Myers from Halloween.
Chong Li from Bloodsport
Jareth Goblin King from Labyrinth
Lost Boys
Mugatu(Will Ferrell) from Zoolander
Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) from Unbreakable
Voldemort in the Tremor worm
Gordon Gekko from Wall Street
Is there actual answers to this somewhere?
(MET: Impressive! The artist (see link) might have answers).
the staypuff marshmallow man from ghostbusters
freddy krugger from nightmare on elm street
dark helmet from spaceballs
zorg in the fifth element
nurse rachet from one flew over the cuckoos nest
white goodman from dodgeball
cobra kai guys from karate kid
Jason from Friday the 13th
sark from tron
the sand worm from dune
these are all I recognize that have not already been listed
This has been bugging me all day! Boba Fett and Hannibal Lector, right? And I want to say one is Captain Jack Sparrow but I’m not sure he counts as a villain…. The other three I could identify have already been done: the dudes from Fargo and that guy with Batman. Oh and Jaws plus Jaws. That’s funny right there.
Lovin’ the Jaws inside of Jaws…
I disagree – Naming all of these is quite hard…
Bane from the Dark Knight Rises holding a foto of Two-Face..
The three criminals from Krypton in Superman two I think…
Raiders of the lost arc Nazi buggers…
Predator…
Principal from Ferris Bueller’s day off with his foot in the cacala…
Kim Basinger’s Elle Driver from Kill Bill…
Also Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill…
Mama and the Fratelli Brothers from Goonies…
Bram Stoker’s Dracula…
The clown from Stephen King’s It…
Sark! Ha!
Mr. Humongous from Mad Max next to Jason Voorhees.
I think I can name most of them. I’ll throw a few out there.
Candyman – top left.
Monster at top is Chet from Wierd Science.
Lo Pan and his flying guys from Big Trouble in Little China.
ED-209 robot from Robocop. Ivan Drago from Rocky IV by his feet.
Surfer is Patrick Swayze from Point Break.
The “I want my 2 dollars!” kid from Better Off Dead.
The Butcher from Gangs of New York.
Biff Tannen in the manure car.
Wood chipper guy from Fargo.
Who’s next?
(MET: You’re right about Chet – I was thinking it was Pizza the Hut).
No way I could figure all these out. I don’t think it’s actually an accomplishment for anyone to get them all as much as it is an indication that you are spending way to much time in front of the programming screen, detached from reality.
