There are some possible variant/versions possible – clean (no dirt), crazed eyes (chasing other CARS) or happy (dream sequence) or the lazy release – this one. I’m presuming no one cares which Frank gets released as long as it’s Frank the Combine.
Maybe we should rename the card motif …

Some people obviously disagree but I hate how they keep re-releasing these rare cars. Part of my addiction to collecting is having the pride of knowing I own rare cars in my collection. I think they are killing the fun of collecting. just my 2 cents
I don’t disagree with you. Rare cars ARE part of the fun. The re-releases to me don’t really devalue the originals. Like Frank. I’m sure this one will be different in subtle or not-so subtle ways. To me, anything on the first series cardback or Supercharged anything is intrinsically more valuable. They can release a character on every card but the ones I’m going to love the most are my Desert series characters, even in beat up packages, hard-found after six years. I’m a new collector so they are a big deal to me. Re-releases appease kids and parents. Collectors won’t change their values.
Time to sell all my Frank’s now since he will fall off the rarity list as soon as he’s re-released. Gotta get my money back that I spent to get this one.

Great news that Frank is coming back!
It will be nice to finally have a Frank that I’m not really worried about the kids breaking. The Disney Store version we have is just too big and heavy for normal play.
