Mattel Disney CARS & PLANES at San Diego Comic Con 2013
Thanks for the great photos – first on scene – Kevin NascarBronco at San Diego Comic Con 2013!
Here’s the CARS – PLANES display.
For CARS, they essentially replicated the poster as 3D diecasts …
It’s an interesting concept but ultimately, I think it looks a little sparse …
But it’s still nice to see the actual 3D diecasts even if we’ve seen them on the poster.
Maybe it’s would’ve looked better if they were “bursting” through the backdrop …
A look at the Super Chases … Yukio, Hiroaki and Takeshi.
And Uncle Topolino’s Band, mostly … well, other than regular Guido sneaking in to sing karoke or maybe given a drunken best man speech. It is a Guido lookalike but he’s carrying a small accordian … that may be him next to Luigi a few photos above – FAIL. D’oh.

As I said over the phone…they have those…. FREE shirts…..but it takes 2 or three other lines and about an hour wait perline. I have bandai and Hasbro first.
