Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Kmart CARS Event Pre-Sale Canceled?

Some? Many? All?

People have reported that many/all $79.80 orders were canceled. I have not been able to access my order so I don’t know if mine was deleted or it’s some other error.

No one seems to have gotten any emails regarding cancellations?

Let me know. There was a disclaimer that your pre-order price was locked in? I can’t find that anymore.

    Here’s the latest e-mail I received from Kmart… I edited out my name and my order numbers… I was ordering for myself and others who would not be able to attend the event as they live out of the country.

    I think I’m going to contact the State of Indiana Attorney General’s office… It may not do any good, but I’ll feel better… I filed 2 complaints about robot calls on my cell phone… and since then I’ve gotten no phone calls from Rachel wanting to save me money on my credit card.

    This is yet another example of a retailer out of touch with customers and not having a clue.

    I did receive an email from Kmart today thanking me for my purchase and showing me similar items that others have purchased within the same category. It would be really bad form if they were trying to upsell me and then canceled my initial order.

    Mine says “processing” as well. Let’s hope they honor these just as most store would due for a “posted” price. I DID get an e-mail from K-Mart this afternoon @ 4:41 thanking me for my recent order!!

    Yes, if it was completed successfully (ie you completed the order and entered payment info) it will go through.

    Hi All.

    Checking in from Michigan.

    It is 5:15pm local time, and I am in my shopping history.

    My current $79.80 (+ tax) order is showing as “processing”.

    I have not received any correspondence (email) from K-Mart since receiving my confirmation email on Saturday at 3:25pm.

    Interestingly, looking at my historic orders, the June 2009 order was “cancelled”, so hopefully it isn’t a 3-year curse type of thing.

    Hopefully order will be restored to the Force, as I don’t want to have to make an excutive decision at 8:59am on Saturday if I need to buy a second set of cars to cover my bases.

    I just checked my order. It still says “processing” but I’m sure if they are canceling Sat orders, my will get cancelled too. I’ll post when it gets cancelled 🙁
