that trip into outfield is when they went to check on the Transformer, right?
By “drive” they mean walk right? (Or bounce if you want to go there) Because Apollo 11 didn’t have the Lunar Rover. The headline is deceptive.
(MET: Oops, I thought Apollo 11 was the one with the rover …).
I was wondering why there was a baseball field on the moon for the first few seconds
(MET: Ignore the alien built ballpark, it’s just a shadow or weather balloon).
I was only 2 at the time, but my parents made sure to sit me in front of the TV to watch it. I only wish they had snapped a photo of me watching.
As for Neil Armstrong, Boiler Up!!
My dad took photos of the TV screen when they were showing the Apollo 11 landing.
I remember watching that on black and white TV that we had… it seemed so surreal…
Great trip back in time.
