Unstoppable is number 20
i live in the small town of emporium pa and in 09 if i remember correctly they came to my town and filmed some scenes here and in nearby areas. i know people who are extras in it, and my friends grandpa has a huge house and they asked to use it and he said no. i think i saw Denzel Washington’s trailer parked next to our baseball field along with a lot of the crews cars, a car with a movie camera attached to the side, and helicopters on the field. the one day i actually seen the helicopter go up and flew by me with cars zooming past a long stretch of road! my sister signed up to be an extra, but the day she could have done it, she couldn’t go. the same friend i mentioned, his mom is in the trailer, but not in the final film. it was a great experience, there are some videos on youtube people filmed of one of the big explosions. if i wasn’t in school during that time i could have watched it!
(MET: Sounds cool).
I’ve done my part to inflate the sales of Cars2… 1 Collector’s Edition, 2 Walmart blu-ray bundles with the metallic paint Finn… 1 normal 5 pack which I bought at Best Buy to get the R/C exclusive blue McQueen… I’m done purchasing those.
And as others said, I bought Blu-ray titles that included a DVD, not DVD only titles.
I bet Tangled would be #1 if it wasn’t on Netflix.
That is the only reason we haven’t bought it.
My girls have watched it at least 200 times. Not kidding.
my family also loves Tangled.
HP reaches a broader age range..wife and I saw it 2x in the theater and watched it several times on DVD, but we haven’t let our 8 yr old watch it. he has to read the book first (which he just started 2 weeks ago.)
Our 5 yr old daughter LOVES tangled…so does our son, but he won’t admit it…
Anyone read that artcle about the Atlanta Braves trying to make Disney/Pixar change the name of their movie Brave…they say it will bring them bad press…what kind of press is worse than their epic flop last season (red sox too)! Myabe they should focus their efforts and $$ on building abetter team!
I wholeheartedly agree. Our family loves Tangled as well. Both movie and soundtrack are great and the children watch it often. Tangled is easily in the top ten animated movie ever made. An instant Disney classic that more than lived up to what a Disney princess movie should be. Just as good or better than beauty and the Beast IMO.
I highly recommend Tangled to anyone who has it seen it yet. I bet it eventually hits Broadway too. It will make 1 great stage show with that soundtrack.
Seems funny to me.
I am sure there are some American Indians who have issues with the Braves name as well.
Is it the name or the mascot that they might be offensive? I’m no expert on this one but I’ve been to Atlanta and not once did I ever hear anyone refer to an Indian as a Brave.
I think it’s strange that Harry Potter 7.2 has LESS sales than Harry Potter 7.1 — maybe 1,298,007 people already know how it ends?
well Harry Potter 7.1 did have a 7-month headstart.
That list only covers DVD’s, so maybe more people purchased Part 2 on Blu-Ray
I wonder if they wood have made MORE $$ if they had less options?? I know that I personally got conefused…but then again, it does knot take much!
