What Your Kids Really Want – Holidays 2011 + Every Baby Wants an iPad
If you’re going the Consumer Electronics route, better fire up the credit cards and forget your root canal (selfish! 😆 ).
Though 25% of kids are willing to settle for an non-iPad so that $99 tablet from Walgreen’s will save you a couple bucks.
And don’t try to foist any old thing on me – like that magazine thing, that’s just an iPad without pinch to shrink or zoom … crazy old adults …
I am so glad my kids are still into toys. I’m thinking there will start to be a big disconnect when they start getting into all these fancy gadgets that I will have no idea how to use. I have had my “new” phone for over six months and I still can’t figure out how to surf the internet without it being a pain in the butt. I’m hoping they get into sports and not video games when they are older.
Reminds me of the Father Guido Sarducci sketch where he sings as if he’s Santa Claus:
“You would not believe, the letters I get. Here’s one from Suzie: ‘Dear Santa. I want a cellular telephone with call waiting, and a color xerox machine.’ Can you believe it? And she’s only five.”
Only in America! LOL…
Ummm, look closely; those magazines are in French…
It’s nice to be American 🙂 My kids will be just fine with a giant empty box!
Let me get this straight, none of these “toys” (except a the Xbox Kinect and PS Move) involve any activity other than staring at a screen and pushing buttons, virtual buttons at that!
good point!
My kid needs a new ball..
Luca!!
Neat! We have an iPad and it is a great travel accessory.
Plus, there are some really great apps for it as well.
