Usually by now, the first few case assortments for 2012 is out – but as of now, no info yet – not even sure what the next design motif will look like …

I can’t wait to see ANYTHING new on the singles pegs. I REFUSE to buy multi-packs with one new car in it.

I’m dreaming of this case assortment:
6 x RS Ramone
6 x Lime Ramone
6 x Union Jack Ramone
6 x Otis the lemon
I’ve said this too many times, and been wrong too many times, but hopefully Mattel has learned their lesson after the Great Finn Saturation of 2011 and future case assortments will be better.
We are substituting Fred for Otis for the time being for role-playing purposes. I’d have to check my Meet the Cars book, but maybe Fred and Otis are the same make/model?
They look very very similar. I think you’d just need to file away some of the teeth and repaint to complete the job.
I’m pretty sure Otis and Fred are one and the same, notably with the grille/nose sticking out in front of the headlights.
I figure it’ll probably be another year before we get Otis. It took that long for us to just get Fred. The first Cars Christmas 5 years ago brought us the Supercharged cardbacks, and a year later, the World of Cars cardbacks heralded Fred’s arrival.

After the saturation of Finn McMissile, Lightning McQueen with racing wheels, Francesco Bernoulli, and Race Team Mater, it will be great to see a Ramone single on the pegs.
It seems so long ago that Ramone was a pegwarmer single… Green… purple… hydraulic… old school… yellow… Ghostlight…Lightning…
And I could be forgetting some…
