I think some track records were unofficially broke that day.
Texas heat warps the roads. Then when it rains, it just puddles. Then you have all these ridges and puddles that make it great for hydroplaning. Of course, that doesn’t ever slow anyone down around here.
I remember a couple guys coming to work late because of this accident. First time I have seen the video though.
No one was injured in an August 25, 2010 accident near the intersection Hwy 549 and Texas Highway 205 as an 18-wheeler driver lost control the rig, which swept across the highway into parked cars. Rockwall police officers were at the site investigating a previous stranded vehicle when the semi slammed into a police cruiser and two other cars. “It was truly a miracle no died or was hurt.” according to a Rockwall police officer. Crazy what’s caught on cameras nowadays. As for these poor guys looking at how fast that truck was sliding out of control it doesnt seem likely that all of them were able to avoid the wreckage. It looks like that truck was not going to stop for a pretty good distance yet.
Not to mention the truck is some type of fuel or combustible liquid carrier. Explosions and fires were likely. Maybe I don’t want to even know but I am curious to know what happened to the people involved.
Uh. That’ll buff out.

Including the truck driver, I wonder how many of them had to change their drawers after that?
That is nasty, the tanker truck looks like it is from the Road Warrior.
NOT Neat! I hope they are OK
