The Disney Store has their own Siddeley the Spy Plane. It is seens slightly wider and larger but it looks very close in size to the Mattel one – when I get both opened, I’ll do a comparison – the main difference seems to be the Disney Store one has a button on top where if you press, it ejects Finn out the back …
And I believe this Finn included here is more 1:55 scale than 1:32 scale …

any one know where i can get the mater rescue truck from my lil boy loves him
hi im getting all disney cars charecters for my lil boy the main 1 he wants is rescue squad mater i have tried every shop i can think of to get this with no avail was hoping someone mite be able to help

Being UK based I need to have it but as a father rather than a collector Ive not been impressed with the durability of the Disney stuff when its played with-it seems more for display.
Dinoco heli has lost its wheels,Rescue Squad Mater is missing both mirrors and his hose nozzle etc etc.
have the same problem i wouldn’t buy these cars from the Disney store the are just for collectors not to be played with. I love my Diecast cars! they should have a money back Guarantee don’t you think?
Does this siddeley fit 3 cars inside to ?? Is finn diecast ??
Mater, Acer, Grem, Ramone, Flo, Darryl, Sarge & Sheriff are Detroit boys and girl too. Holly, Finn & Miles were Ford products until the Second Great Bank Depression…

The eBay listings for Disney Cars 2 has many other multi packs, which means of course some of the Disney stores have had them in the recent past. I’m sure all of the castings will appear soon. Hopefully the announced store at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, WA will open soon.
I know a number of us have made this point, but the DS Siddely is really sharp. I look forward to Met’s comparison post…Mattel’s is cheaper plastic, with a swirly pattern around the nose. There’s something extra cool about the Mattel-scale Finn too, and worth having.

I do remember seeing the Tomber/APE at a physical store. Cool combo, whereas Mattel gives us Tomber + repeat, and may give us just one APE + repeat, Disney gives you two characters you actually want together.

I have seen the Tractor in one of those Cars 2 boxes on eBay. I looked yesterday and did not see it available online on Disneystore.com yet. My son keeps breaking the front wheels off one of his Disney Store Tractors and I don’t know how many more times I’m going to be able to glue it back on.
I have also given thought to getting this Disney Store Siddeley and return the Mattel one. But the more I think about it, I think he has less of a chance of breaking the Mattel one so we most likely will keep it.
