Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS 2: 2-Packs Checklist (Fixed)
The other day, we put together a checklist of everything coming out on hanging cards – some people were confused about the 2-packs since they were alpha listed and not by package so here’s a listing of the 2-packs by the pack itself. These should all be out before the movie opens.
They are technically not called Movie Moments anymore. I’m just temporarily using it as a shortcut.
The ones in column one are available to all retailers – are just called “2-packs.”
The Walmart ones are called “Mater’s Secret Mission” and contain one good guy and one villain. Interestingly enough only the ‘regular’ 2-packs are sniped with EXCLUSIVE VEHICLE but not the Walmart ones for what’s that worth.
The Kmart ones are called “Pit Crew 2-Packs,” and of course contain one racer and one crew member.
Right now, it’s also unknown if the racers will have different eye or expression differences between the launcher version, the 2-pack version or the single carded version …

Gotta love those names — Tyler Trunklis (the Gremlin was essentially a trunkless Hornet) and Fred Fisbowski (in honor of the Pacer’s unfortunate resemblance to a fishbowl)!
I swear this list made its way into my dreams a few days ago. I was in a Walmart and found multiple 2-packs, including a modified Finn with one of the extra ‘little cars’ from the sneak peek clip.
Does someone has already seen an image of Tyler Trunklis ? If so, can I have the link please ?

The Mcqueen launcher version has a different expression than the single version Mcqueen.
The eyebrows are raised and his mouth is more open in the launcher.
As usual, Mattel is going to cash in on collectors with bunch of variants. Ugh!

Ugh, thank god no Target. I don’t have one in my area– the closest one is 2 hours away from me. I have both a K-Mart and Wal-Mart in my area, so this movie might have been a blessing for me! 🙂
Thanks Met. This makes it a little easier to decide how we want to purchase all these new Cars. Can you post something about this 10 pack that somebody mentioned? I don’t plan on getting it if it just contains McQueen’s race team.

one 2-pack is missing; it is actually a 3-pack with
Luigi, Guido and Uncle Topolino.
Or are there more “3-packs” coming out?
Do you know if all the packs will come out in Europe?
(MET: Whoops, somehow that got dropped – sorry … there are three packs coming also, I have to double check on something – once I get an answer, I’ll update the charts. The WM ones should be out in Europe – probably non exclusive … the Pit Crew ones may or may not make it …).
