Blu Ray Player Firmware Flash Upgrade
If your Blu Ray player is giving you problems with some newer discs … your machine might need a firmware upgrade.
This site above is the official Blu Ray association page and has links to all the major manufacturers on how to update your machine.
Some need a direct ethernet from your router, some will accept a flash drive and some you can do over the air via wifi … good luck!

Had the audio problem with two BD movies the kids got for Christmas; found out that LG doesn’t have an upgrade for the model we have. We were able to go into the setup menu on each of the movies and set it for the previous version of Dolby and they played OK, but it’s still a pain.
Glad my PS3 upgrades every so often. 😀 But I do have a Sony BPD-S470 I got from Disney Movie Rewards. Last time I updated was… Think Christmas. PS3 is my main BD player 😀

Are we getting anymore Final Lap cases? Is Wilmar Flatz coming in the Final Lap series? If so, shouldn’t a new case be coming soon?
Working in Information Technology, I update firmware on many devices… be careful… if power goes out during the update process, the device may quit working.
I’ve updated firmware on computers and video game consoles… computer firmware updates in the past have allowed the PC to recognize more memory and/or significantly larger hard drives.
I had to hook my Sony Blu-Ray player up to the router to get Megamind to load recently. And it was very insistant on NOT turning the device off durring the update.
