“Ripper” has found the first officially released CARS 2 item …
Very nice … though Lightning seems a little leery of you resting your pumpkin head on top of him. 🙂

I talked with a toy dept. mgr. at one WM yesterday that said the singles (Lenticular) had been deleted from their system and according to the Mattel rep. the next singles they got would be Cars 2 items.
…And so it begins!!!
Woah, I just watched Cars on Blu-Ray for the first time in a few months and noticed one of the haulers logo’s is not so suitable for kids. Surprised they didn’t catch that. It’s during the ending credits.

Blue Hauler with Stripe with the company name “FN UP”. Although this could be a tribute to Finding Nemo and the movie Up.

The screen grab on the front of his box shows the “FN” logo on the Trailer with the last leg of the “N” being an UP arrow thus making it “FN UP”!! I wonder who snuck THAT into the film!!
Anyhoo, they obviously tweeked the design a little when releasing him as the “FN” logo was replaced with a much better “UP”/House with ballons logo. Imagine trying to explain THAT ONE to your child!! 😆
I wonder if they were allowed to release the plush Lightning McQueen early or if that was an “Oops” by an employee… Great find, Rippers! Did you buy it or just take the picture?
I want those logo sets so bad!
Both the pink and green sets? Sometimes they have them buy one get one 50% off. Seems to be plenty of stock.
