No, I do not know if Matty will ship internationally on these. With a month away, you have time to ask them and let us know. 🙂
No pricing info nor is there (any) purchase limits info but it’s usually some even number like 2, 4 or 6 per order.
Matty will also be open to sell Superman, DC & Masters of the Universe at the exact same time so fingers crossed – it may not go all that smoothly 🙂 … Here’s the Matty page with a list of everything up for sale at that time and date.
BTW, that’s 9 AM Pacific, 10 Mountain, 11 Central and 12 noon Eastern.

Also, on the Matty, there is a section that alludes to a 3.15.2011 date, that only applies to the Masters of Universe Club members so ignore that date if you’re only interested in the CARS item.

Any update? This thing is going up for sale in less than 3 weeks, and still no update. I’ve been checkiing Matty daily since. I miss the days when I checked, this, Cars the Toys, Drive in, Alternator Valley, and Cars Toys Blog. Now I just read the first 2. I can’t wait for this. It will look good with my Piston Cup track.

I was just re-watching the Cars movie the other day, and I commented to my husband that they should make this particular RV and that it would be AWESOME! I haven’t been to this site for a few weeks, and I almost had a heart attack when I just visited and saw that it has been made!!!

Maybe I couldn’t ask the exact question about international shipment; not only couldn’t get info but couldn’t get product info either. I received a reply saying shortly “What ? Barry Diesel ? Never heard of it ?”

Matty does ship internationally. I have got stuff from Matty a few times and it has all been shipped direct to me in Australia

Matty uses Digital River which is notorious for bad packing.
They do not use bubble wrap and little if any packing paper. I have a RS Mater SDCC exclusive that had a creased display box. Some people received broken SDCC Lightning Storm Mcqueens. And from what I hear Digital River has not improved on their methods.
You would think from the complaints Matty Collector would use a different company other than Digital River.
The biggest ordering issues I heard were the gruntings and moanins of those trying to collect the MOTU figures. It’s like those sudden-death rounds in video games where you only have 3-5 minutes to get in and get out with your skin intact.
Though personally, I doubt the Cars items will sell out quickly. It took awhile for the previous exclusives to sell out.
I do not like Matty.com — all the “SOLD OUT” and the “GONE FOR GOOD” — what a joke!

I thought an RV oversize case was going to be sold at Kmart and an online retailer. Is that online retailed Matty?
About damn time… They should have started with the Megasize line… maybe put up Bessie on there too since that thing is impossible to find. Glad to see they are finally doing something good. Now only thing that worries me is pricing on this… I hope no more than 15 or 20 for it… Maybe it’ll be nice to throw some FL up there too… jack up the price a bit… and poof.. it’s fair 😀
Wonderful! I just wish that Mattel will finish each series and not just produce some. We have a lot of gaps in the Haulers, Pitties and Crew Chiefs series. Hopefully this will not be the case with the RV(s).
Unfortunately, I’m probably going to seem the ‘bad guy,’ as the RV gang is not on my list of ‘must-purchase’ vehicles (it has to do with story, as well as space…which explains why I have not jumped on the hauler bandwagon, or collected every single Cars Toon release).
However, if this does prove to get Matty to continue to distribute other Cars material (this still feels like the equivalent of a kid being told to be nice to the kid next door), maybe one day we’ll see Trev or the Circus Cars gang.
Not wanting the RVs our haulers doesn’t make you a bad guy. Everyone should collect or not collect whatever they want.
We collect every car and variant but not the semis or released cars as lenticulars. We just don’t like them. The semis are half a hauler, we do collect all the haulers though. So we actually do get the semis that way.
Room may be come an issue for many collectors when the Cars 2 cars start coming out. Between both movies and toons we will be above 1,000 cars just in the open collection soon and it will keep going from there for awhile. Yep we are going to need much space to keep buying them all.
I think I will go buy so more shelves now and some fake grass for the infield of the Piston cup racetrack setup. Barry will look good in there.

So funny Jeff. I was thinking the same exact thing. Could you imagine how much money Matty could make if they offered more Disney cars releases as opposed to the 1 or 2 a year they give us now. Hopefully the will see the light. Every month they should offer a new release.
I really like this release but they have to make some more RVs now. It wouldn’t be good if this was the only one made. Maybe we will see a box set with a few more. Albert Hinkley must get made!

So Matty has it listed as 1:55 scale. Does that mean it will be a true 1:55 scale (like a Deluxe) or will it be the same size as the mainline singles? Just a thought

GREAT IDEA!!!!!! Mattel should have been doing this for months!! One Convoy Brother each month … McQueen’s Biggest Fan … OTher RV’s … Pitty/Chief Sets …. Haulers … we would have pumped so much money into Matty that they would have needed Trev the Train to move it for them …. hey that gives me another idea … make TREV THE TRAIN as well. Come on Matty, keep it rolling!!!!! 😀
