Well, first, the clear good news … the Santa “Dusenberg” CAR is definitely coming …
It does look like it is a Target Exclusive …
Now comes the glass half full or glass half empty thing.
For those of you who did not want the Piston Cup racer Pitty’s repainted as reindeer since they clearly are snowmobiles and not Pitty’s – your wish seems to have been granted.
So, be careful what you wish for or wish against. :-/

No, “Reindeer.”
So, if you look on the bright side of things, there are no Pitty’s subbing as mock snowmobile reindeer …
But on the other hand, Santa CAR won’t be doing much flying …
So, it’s something but not everything.
Well, maybe 2011.

I found a gift pack of Santa Car, Whee-Hoo Mater and Holiday Hotshot LMQ at TRU today, with the “Only at TRU” sticker on it. Very cute, $19.99
Awesome and I’d love a boxed set of course its target so the only way I’ll see it is by buying it from snob bay or off here.

I have seen a Christmas Fillmore on eBay. I can’t remember if it was in last year’s box set or not. So is there any more news on what other Christmas cars may be coming? I also remember seeing pictures of other cars that weren’t released last year. Also my Target put out the Storytellers on Black Friday, which I didn’t find out about until later. So I may have to go by Target this year.
(MET: I’ll do a Christmas post sometime this week but no Fillmore that I’m aware of … not to say there definitely isn’t one but haven’t him on any lists).

Yes I have seen the Fillmore on eBay also. Luigi and Guido too.
My guess: they release 5 Christmas characters as singles but not Santa who will be exclusive to the box set with the same 5 characters released as singles. The same exact thing they did with Raindeer Mater this year.
The singles will probably be at Targets as storytellers, Disney stores in the Uk and TRUs here in a different package. Maybe the globes again but only Target will have the box set with the Exclusive and elusive Santa Car.
Which means I will not buy any singles at all but be on the hunt for as many Santa sets as possible.
The Santa Car will be one of the most sought after Disney Cars ever. Buy as many as you can get.
I’m sure because it looks just like the Fillmore in the picture above.

Make the pittys elves and have a “Santa’s Workshop” (“Santa’s Garage?”) box set; win-win. Then tool up for the reindeer snowmobiles next year…

Well, I’m happy to see the Santa car coming… just a tad disappointed about the reindeer. I even would have been okay with reindeer pitty’s… we would at least have something, right?
I have seen pics of the Santa car, as well as some other new cars for this year… can’t wait again!!! Last years set is still one of my favorite!
