When he bought the 1:43 scale Frightening McMean with punching action, he got a free DVD of Tokyo Mater!
“Had a nice suprise today, bought a Frightning McMean (big plastic version with sounds and punch action) from Argos in the UK today £12.99 (each) and it came with a free Cars Toons DVD of Tokyo Mater! I asked the guy to have a look out back and check if there where any other Cars Toons but they where all Tokyo Mater ones.”
Very nice!
Note, UK releases are in the PAL format not the North America NTSC format so unless you have a universal DVD player … it won’t play in your DVD player though you can find software to play it on your computer DVD player.
It comes in 4 languages …

They look like something from Fisher Price. Eh, I’ll get these until the 1:55 versions come out.
I hope they can make a Cars Toon DVD in the US with all the toons, plus Mater & the Ghostlight, and Cars Boundin’.
Hmmm, that is interesting. Nice to get a DVD with the short on it, but why must it come with those overpriced plastic toys???? Tricky Tricky Mattel. . . but I will hold strong!
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but a 5:00 sampler DVD of a year old Cars Toons short that we already have on DVR dosen’t do much for me. Not nearly enough to make me want to buy these plastic gimmicky Cars. Perhaps if my son were younger but at 6 he thinks “they are for babies”.
I will wait for the diecast versions.
Thanks for sharing this with us, Rippers… that’s one way to get me to consider buying one of the wrestling Cars… a Cars Toon DVD…
