It looks like these are the three new CARS in the case … as the Target grocery rebuild nears its completion stage – hopefully this means they will be going back to stock the shelves … Happy hunting.

Artie and Bert have arrived at the Target located on Union Avenue, Tacoma, WA. Flo and Shovel-It McQueen were gone, but, I was able to get three Berts and two Arties.
I wish they had called Artie “Ernie” instead.

not yet, owed too much $ to get rid of him. suspended and will be in pen when he returns, which he won’t like. velocity is gone, movement gone, he’s pretty much worthless and owed a ton of dough.
Maybe they are not gone, they didn’t put the whole case..

Was the Marlon Final Lap or Lenticular? Lenticular Marlon was Case M, but Final Lap Marlon is in H, I believe.

It seems all my targets around town had an overstock of supercharged mater. There has to be at least 20-30 maters at both my targets
Are you in California? Someone from California was was selling TONS of those in the last year or so. Either way, someone obviously returned them for store credit.
Around NE you can buy Supercharged Mater for $3.00 at a store chain called Five Below, a store that sells only things for 5 bucks or less.
Mattel blew em out to whomever wanted em. I see em on eBay for about $6.00.
It dosen’t matter none of them ever shows up at out targets around here.
Someone is just beating you to them. Make friends with the clerks and they’ll keep you informed. That’s my strategy. And make sure you get there at 8am. Target stocks overnight. Walmart usually stock around 9-11pm at their 24-hour stores. TRU stocks in the morning so show up at 10am. If you don’t…don’t expect them to be there.
Another strategy is to buy every Final Lap on the pegs, and then return them to another Target. Works like a charm here…

Very good signs that the new characters we thought were only going to be lenticular only will be released with normal eyes via Final Lap. Hurray…maybe Mattel will finally give us something to look forward to.

I feel your pain… we have no Target or TRU… and the only Car I’ve bought at our Meijer in the last 6 months was a Soaked Lightning McQueen with no eyes… I sure wish we could order these exclusives online…
I miss the days when online resellers could get case assortments of good Cars products.

Seems like some of the thunder was taken from this case by releasing Flo with tray in both the TRU set and a lenticular 3 pack. As well as lenticular McQueen with shovel single.
Probably the next final lap case also, as I beleive at least Marlon will be in that one.
Perhaps Mattel rethought it’s plan to have the classic eyed final laps released before it’s lenticular counterpart. By releasing some cars lenticular first they are probably selling more googlys as opposed to a lenticular that has already been released with fixed eyes.
I know it works on me. I only will buy a lenticular if it’s a new chase car or a car that has never been released before. I will also buy a fixed eyed car if I already have the lenticular version like Flo with Tray but not vise versa.
I won’t buy the googly if I already have the classic eyes and I am sure this hold true for many collectors.
Mattel must know- so I won’t be suprised to see more cars released lenticular first, therby reducing the number of true new releases with the good old fashioned fixed eyes that most of us perfer.

Actually, the 3 new ones are Bert, Artie, and McQueen with Shovel. I’ve seen a Final Lap McQueen with Shovel on eBay. Flo with tray is NOT new, because she’s in the TRU 5 pack. SO basically, only 3 cars never released before. Also, I think G was scheduled for May, and H for June, I think pegwarmers delayed them.
Make it 2 new cars then, because McQueen with Shovel (the one afflicted with Lenticulitis) has been out for weeks!
I still consider it 3 new cars because I would never touch a lenticular, so to me googly-eyed cars are irrelevant. Flo with tray is not new because she is in the TRU pack with fixed eyes. McQueen with Shovel, however, I will be picking up as a new car to add to my collection 🙂
I agree. The only lenticulars I get are Chase cars. I hate all other cars that have Lenticulitis.

McQueen with shovel also appears to be in the case… One eBay seller in California has 4 sets of 4 available on buy-it-now… Hopefully they show up in the midwest soon…

The price was $99.99 when they first appeared on eBay… At $89.99 it’s still $60 more for the set of 4 than I am willing to spend.
