Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: SDCC Tuner Mater Box Lights Up?
Unconfirmed rumor … the SDCC Tuner Mater box may light up his translucent tailpipe flames … (the box, NOT Mater himself).
This is a painstaking recreation of what LED lights underneath Mater might evoke … or, it could be me holding a LED flashlight in one hand and a camera in the other … while eating a corn dog and watching the NBA playoffs while texting.
In other words, it may look nothing like this mock-up of an artist rendering of a happenstance …

Anyone confirm whether or not these light up?
OKAY….. According to SDCC page:

Can’t figure why it says Tomato in Japanese on the side
They could have done without the Christmas-looking lights as flames.
Lets play a game! Can you find the hidden Take5aDay watermark in the second picture?
Please tell me where it is. I can’t find it.
Yeah I can honestly say that I am not overly excited about this years SDCC exclusive. The LSMQ for the first one was amazing and the box set from last year was very cool with the great display box, but it seems like they have been going down hill ever since the exclusives that were available from the Hotwheels RLC.
There have been a lot of us saying this for quite some time now. I think it is a great idea! Especially the Tunerz
Mattel should really think about adding working lights to selected vehicles — Mater, Brand New Mater, Sheriff, Red, the Tunerz, etc.
I think that’s asking too much!
Yeah, let’s not throw Matty even more off-focus from completing the other lines. 🙂
