Have the remaining 2010 Collector Guides have been sold to TRU?
I actually saw a few left from the case …

And Ken T. found half of the case at his TRU …
So, were the rest of the cases in the Mattel warehouse sold to TRU? – as some reports were that disappeared “overnight.” So, you might want to check your TRU to see if they got a case – considering there are fewer than 700 TRU’s … that might be it – one case to a store?

Last Wed I went searching at different stores for this one and others, so they must have restocked because I got lucky today that the NY Massapequa Park TRU had six on the rack. However, I also felt unlucky because today I got in the mail an expensive Ebay Frank, after seeing a $7 one at a Walmart I checked before bidding.

Does anyone have the TRU item number from a receipt or shelf tag?
Much easier to give them that number when calling than reading off the entire UPC.

I found at least 10 at TRU in Norcal today and was so happy I didn’t have to pay $30+ for it. It was $6.99. So don’t buy it at the crazy prices because they are coming out. Also picked up the TRU with Dexter Hoover w/green flag. At Target I found Buck the Tooth Vendor & bought it for my dentist husband, the single Mega Daredevil McQueen, Lightning McQ w/Shovel (bought it just in case they don’t make it non-lenticular, but will return it if they do) & the Dexter Hooover again but didn’t buy that one. Did not see Fred with Fallen Bumper. DId find Team Bumper Save at one Target though & bought it because it was on sale & in case the pitty is different than the pit crew 4pk, which BTW, is it?
(MET: Bumper Save Pit Crew is not out yet).
I so desperately want that collector guide and car but can’t do eBays $40.
TRU at the South Hill Mall, Puyallup, WA has two full pegs of the guide. Price is $6.99. I suppose some retailers cut back due to last year’s stagnation. I wouldn’t sit and wait for a serious price reduction. I wouldn’t load up on them either.

Need the 6 digit item # on the price tag near the $7.99. It starts with 44 but can’t make out the other 4 #’s.

My TRU doesn’t have them in stock, but they told me it was an “active” account. Hopefully I will see one here in the next week or so.

My TRU had them on the pegs at $7.99 but they rang up at $6.99. Still not cheap, but where else are you going to buy them? 🙂

Yeah I was going to call around to a few to see if they have any. I hope that they show up so we can all get a chance to find them.

Nope … call, like I did last night …. called my two closest ones …. they both said the sku number is in their system but it reads that they have NEVER got them in … and one store went so far as to say they are NOT showing ANY in the WAREHOUSE and they are NOT slated to “EVER” get them in ….. 🙁
I’ve gotten that response from TRU several times, and every time the item shows up. I wouldn’t buy too much into it.
Well I called all in my area and none of them had them in stock. None could say if they were going to get them either. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
