Disney Pixar: New Monsters, Inc. 2 – Coming 2012
Pixar tentpole “Brave” has been given a release date of June 15, 2012, and there will be another “Monsters, Inc.,” scheduled for the 2012 holiday season, November 16.
“Brave,” once known as “The Bear and the Bow,” is written and directed by Brenda Chapman and features the voices of Reese Witherspoon and Billy Connolly in a tale of archery and royalty.
While there’s no mention of John Goodman or Billy Crystal, I cannot imagine they would announce a sequel and not lock those two guys in.

I always hoped they would make Monters Inc. 2. Monsters Inc is one of my faves 🙂
Pixar has to have goodman and crystal doing the parts…. no way they would do part two without them. (it would be like toy story 3 without hanks and allen)
I am guessing goodman and crystal jumped at the chance to do it… seeing they have not done much recently.
And I thought they would not do a “monsters part duece”
I cannot wait to tell my kids this morning.
I was thinking the same thing……Crystal and Goodman have not exactly been tearing up the big screen with box office hits. Heck, when’s the last time either of them was in anything?
2 years can seam like an eternity to kids. Are you sure you want to make that announcement quite so soon? Dad, when can we go see Monsters, Inc. 2??? Huh? Can we? Can we? 🙂
I love this film, like all Pixar films. I am sure they will do a great job.
Hmn…. they should just leave it alone. If they don’t have Billy Crystal & John Goodman there would be no point in making this… But in my opinion just leave it a long and make something else… Seriously… what’s up with Hollywood lately? Sequels & prequels…. books…. Man… 🙁 Oh well…
