We had tears before bedtime as Alfie tried to recreat Met’s display without disconnecting the tractor units (trucks) on the upper tiers!
(MET: Yea, us adults are tricky – sorry, little dude!)
If you live near a BIG LOTS store, you might just want to check out their CARS display. I went there and I found multiple Todd the Pizza Planet trucks, Pattis and impound mcqueen along with the usual cars (they were hiding in the back of the pegs). We found them just lying around the toy department as well as them being on the pegs. Even better than that, they were ON SALE! I dont know if this was special just for this one location or if it is for all of the Big Lots, but it wont hurt to look! Happy Shopping 🙂
was just there a few days ago and they were full of those cars, but I already have them all. in fact that is the only place I ever saw Todd in my area, and that’s where I got him about 6 months ago. What state are you in?
never saw Mood Springs or Sidewall Shine in my area of PA/NJ. Still hoping though. But, there must be a thousand Gils, Nitroades, and Leakless.
The $2 JLU figures are the better deal at Big Lots, but the Cars section is full of the usual suspects again – Todd, Andrea, Chuck, Damaged King, Impound McQueen, Greta, etc….

im in the UK and we never saw sight of todd, chuck, andrea etc. we are overflowing with mood springs and sidewall haulers though.
Thanks for the post about Big Lots, carsfreak64. I have not been to Big Lots in a while but I went today. Not much left, but I did find a couple of good ones.
About a year ago, when I was still fairly new to the hobby (and before I found Take5aDay) I was in Big Lots just after they put out over a hundred and fifty Cars characters. Lots of Todds, Pattys, Leroy Traffiks, Gretas, even a few Milton Calipers plus the usual array of Lightning McQueens and other peg warmers. So what did I do in my ignorance? I bought ONE of each of the rare characters, then I bought all of the variations of Lightning McQueen!!!!! I did not have them and I did not know how pervasive LMQ was in every store.
Believe me, I have regretted that decision many times.
There is a lesson to be learned here:
Take5aDay to keep Lightning McQueen away!

i just got mood springs hauler today, it my favourite hauler of the lot. i have never seen jerry recycled batteries anywere apart from the internet, is he the rarest hauler???

I am soooooooooo afraid that before they finish making all of the NORMAL LOOKING SAME AS THE OTHER HAULERS, SOME STUPID DESIGNER IS GOING TO SAY LETS STOP PRODUCTION ON WHAT IS WANTED AND START MAKING HAULERS WITH (four eys)! I BEG YOU WHO EVER YOU ARE GO BACK TO SLEEP AND STOP DREAMING THAT AWAFUL DREAM!
