There is a new CARS carrying case at TRU.
It is most likely from the same company that made the one selling at Target & WM. Photo below is from the original post.

It’s funny because I’m seeing this box and the playset with the plastic Dragon Mc Queen in stores, but not the Collectors Guide Dragon Mc Queen.
Does anyone know when stores “IN MY TOWN” of Chicago will start
getting that special case of 12?
Sometimes I get the feeling like some of this stuff never hits the floor because the workers in back area actually Ebayers.
Or they haven’t order the new collectors guide car yet as they still have 200 left over from last year.
I have two of the cases below and they are awesome. They fit all of the cars, and several of the megasize size. I also printed labels and stuck them to the front of the little plastic bins. Plus the front is red (perfect for matching the Cars theme), and has holes in the back so you can hang it on the wall. I found mine on eBay for around $20 +$5 shipping (I had to return one because it arrived cracked, but the company resent another one and it arrived fine).

OH THAT’S RIGHT! MATTY MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT NOT ONLY WAS “CARS” ORIGINALLY FROM HOT WHEELS, BUT IT HAS NOW HIT THE BIG TIME AND SITS IN THE STORES NEXT TO BARBIE AND MICKEY…
BB we have 3 display cases from Children’s Toy Closet; 2 for singles and one of the hauler cases. We put the Mega size in with the haulers and all 3 together look really nice. My kids still play with them so we don’t have the cover on them.
It would be nice if Mattel made a display case with the Cars logo on it but can you imagine how much that would cost?
In my opinion this case really S*&(s. There only good for minis.
I really Need this!! I’m running out of room in my closet loL!! And I’ll need a place to keep my cars come tornado season!

I had never tried to put my minis in the case until tonight and you know what? They look great in there! Thanks Met and John, finally a place for the minis and some free shelf space for Final Lap!

I have the first one, it is ok but the cars don’t fit very well and get bashed around. This looks like a new sticker on the front.
