Target Easter reset begins … Easter CARS!
Well, I guess last year’s Target Easter CARS were too exciting?
I guess that was too much work coming up with the two Piston Cup crew chiefs so it’s back to random CARS?
The 2010 Easter CARS are … Snot Rod, Fillmore, Axel Accelerator & Lightning McQueen …
They do not say they are Target only but it probably seems safe to guess that.
UPDATE: PitStopToyShop says they are not Target exclusives and available for all Mattel authorized dealers so that would-might explain why the CARS are pretty much random.
They do not say they are lenticular but they probably are. (THIS IS STILL UNKNOWN whether they are one or the other)????
All but Axel Accelerator has been released as a lenticular already.
Snot Rod has not been released in the shifting-eyes Lenticular 2 series.
I’m guessing Axel won’t come in a black egg?
Er, Collect them all?

I found a case of the Easter Eggs at Target a few minutes ago. You can see through the eggs, and these are definitely non-Lenticular — Whoopee!! Nice case assortment (as usual), with 3 Lightning’s, 1 Snot Rod, 1 Axle Accelerator, and 1 Fillmore. I thought it was funny that the color of the eggs do not correspond with the color of the Cars.

Yeah..I think I’ll pass on these. I’ve saved so much money in the past several weeks due to the lack of new Cars. Guess I’ll have to use my Cars money for something completely silly like paying some bills…or beer. 😉

What?! All of them are old cars?! Thats stupid! Snot Rod, Fillmore, Axle Accelerator and Lightning McQueen thats a pretty stupid assortment! Instead of Snot Rod, Fillmore, Axle Accelerator and Lightning McQueen they should have gone with Milton Calypeer, Jay Limo, Apple car and Kori Turbowiz In non-lenticular!
Is it time to write John L. himself? I bet we would at least get a serious response from the Disney/Pixar offices. I know Mattel is not his company, but John L. must have a meeting with Mattel at some point… especially with CARS 2 coming up.

No more Story Tellers ( DPCI doesn’t work anymore )
No more Regular EYES (except Target Final LAP)
No more Oversized (Bessie seems to be the last one)
They didn’t do the playset; we saw at ComiCon (Sarge /Fillmore)
They made demos / Prototypes but never gave us real proofs that they would make everything we saw at CCon.
The end is near ! .. 40 final laps and that will be it !
All that will remain will be Lenticulars crap and TOONS ..

Pit Row Launchers are NOT dead. I have some New Ones coming in tomorrow or Friday, but I can’t tell you or I’ll have to kill you… until I actually have them in hand, of course!
Newer than the C case with Fiber Fuel, Mood Springs, Easy Idle, and Nitroade? Newer than the D case with Retread, Shiny Wax, RPM, and No Stall? Could this contain new launchers that were previewed last summer at SDCC? We know you’ll let us know as soon as you know…
Yes, and yes, and maybe… I’d have to go back and look at the photos to be sure about the SDCC part. I know the scheduled assortment but no details until I have them in my hands. I don’t want to get any hopes up.

Race O Rama Case G March 09. One Milton to a case. No he was not a chase package. He was a rare release and never re released so far.
