I really like the Dinoco team especially with the twins and the heli. Indeed only a huge oil company is capable of hiring helicopters
Ok, I just noticed, but the face on the thin pitty is precious! I love his expression! I haven’t noticed if the any of the other thin pitties look like this too? Now I will have to go check.

I was just thinking something similar. Did anyone guess Oct 11 on the final lap cars contest??? If they did, they are a winner in my book!
If Mattel never releases all 36 teams.. I will definitely be paying a customizer to make them for me 🙂

darn! I figured it out at lunch. I went to taget and saw the mia tia bling bling box set, oh well. you got me all excited for nothing.
Target wouldn’t be dumb enough to advertise these on the 11th, would they? DPCI shows “in stock”(1 case), but our nearest store is holding to that date, won’t bring out of the back room due the “Hold until Oct. 11” comment showing in their hand held scanners.
Interesting; the employees I spoke to said there was nothing written on the case that prohibited them from selling before Oct 11. It just said not to put them on the floor until then.
(MET: So handing them off to a customer and ringing them up is fine as it’s not really on the ‘floor’ or the pegs. So if they try to not sell it to you – point this out – no shelving is not no selling or selling is not shelving).

Met has an awesome collection. Anything you are missing, cardback etc.I doubt it!
Now those pictured all together are true TEAM sets. It should be a SAMS exclusive due to the quantity that would go into it. The only thing I really wish they had included in this new Target set was that the Crew Chief had his “pit stand.” You know that, “stand” where he…ohhhh..stands, sits, parks..however you want to call it…while overseing the race. It would have been really nice. Made of plastic of course, like the tool chest. I remember Aroldo’s custom one that was part of a set he made. It looked great.
This completes the Dinoco Blue from the movie, I believe.
Except for the pit stand as Rumbler says.

Now imagine the same thing for the other 35 racers… I don’t think we have to worry about Mattel releasing them all though.
I have photos of my sons cars all in cute sets like that I did on his birthday, just without the haulers since we hadn’t found them at that time.
Its neat to have the sets together.

The group picture just made me realized we haven’t gotten my son an oversized Dinoco helicopter! Time to go back on the hunt! 🙁
If you can’t find one since I haven’t actually seen that one at a regular retail outlet in a long time, one of my local grocery stores has it and it is on sale this week for 5.99 making it a whole 50 cents cheaper then say WM. WOW we don’t have the mega helicopter either. I knew I was missing the eclusive storm mcqueen but now I have to find that helicopter.

It’s even harder to own Dinoco when they aren’t released here, but you know I’ll have you covered when they do arrive.
