Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: The CARS Family Tree
Now that we have a lot of CARS claiming to be family … who can we kiss without sickening part of the familia behind the frozen banana stand … who should we kick out of the buffet line and who can we safety ignore?
Mainline, lenticular, Mater Tall Tales, Color Shifters, who’s in and who’s out?
The CARS Family Tree …
Two things.
A) I think your baby will appreciate if you make this into a mobile and not a Winnie the Pooh one – besides, this one is free!
B) It is different than the SHADOW GUIDE because it doesn’t include every configuration possible (for instance, it’s not important here that Mater Tall Tales CARS are available in other configurations – just that that it is available).
What does it all mean?
It simply lets you know which CARS you can kiss, which you snuggle up to, which you anoint with oils and rub all over yourself and which ones you can pretend you can’t hear them knocking at the front door … of course, please do ALL of these things in the privacy of your own home with the curtains drawn and the door locked. Too much information (yes, you FaceBook). 🙂
And remember. never go against the family.

Love the Godfather movie reference
This tree needs some trimming, like that limb hanging down the left side(distant relations)! The How Wheels versions hang on the pegs, keeping them warm, who would think a CARS version will do any better?

Several of the playsets that launch the Cars etc. come with plastic versions of the Cars as they would be dangerous with diecast. There are plastic versions of LMQ, Mater and others.
No Geotrax either?
Only family by marriage! Shotgun wedding!
Let’s also not forget exclusives: SDCC, mail-ins, etc.
Those are like the wealthy uncles that you’re always hoping will send you a nice birthday gift!

hahaha. I think i can use this for a baby shower gift. Not only does it dangle nicely above the crib.. but so informative as well! Start those babies right 🙂
