And of course, nicely detailed – not just some random hunk of plastic but looks real and hefty.
Like the Stanley Cup, this one looks like it’s been tossed around the garage, the hotel swimming pool and the grenade range already during its celebration 🙂

Just found a Chick/Piston Cup with “King Champion” written on it. Also have a LMQ/Piston Cup but the cup was inserted backwards. I think I’ll hang onto these, although it sounds like the Chick error may be widespread.
I found a Chase Chick Hicks with the wrong name on the piston cup! It says “The King Champion” on it! ;-)Might be worth something!
I picked up the Chase Chick Hicks with Piston Cup and the Piston Cup said “The King” on it. Anyone else gotten this one as an error?
I don’t know if anyone else has it but I will buy it from you if you want to sell it.

Yea….picked up two Chicks w/ Cups this weekend at my local Target. One had Chick Hicks Champion and the other had The King Champion. How common is this??
i just noticed the chick hicks with piston cup my husband picked up at a target in jersey while traveling for work has the king’s piston cup.
anyone else think they should also do a Fabulous Hudson Hornet w/ Piston Cup(s)?
That would be AWESOME!! I defiantely think 3 cups would be INCREDIBLE . . . but then all of the other racer would have CUP envy!!

As in Nascar diecasts it is called a “Race Win” version, that has the confetti on the cars included dings dents tire marks and any dirt on them.
that would be good, if they made the chase piston cup cars dusty in places and have a few skratches on the sides, and maybe diferent expressions.

Psst.. Lighting McQueen “NEVER WON a Piston Cup”, It was McQueen “Day Dreaming”. So any chance you re-calling those and then selling Doc with a Piston Cup to his right. Oh, and one to his left, and then one more sort of behind him… and that will just about empty my Bank account.

The cups are VERY NICE . . . would have been SUPER cool if they were metal . . . but, hey . . . after all, it is just an empty cup!!
They’re great for storing wrenches in your dark, dusty garage! I guess that makes them “cup holders”?

Yes. I wan it too. The first would say 1951, the second would say 1952, and the third would say 1953. Other than those, I wish tey weren’t personalised so other racers could win.

If you are an opener, GOLD nail polish will do a nice touch up work on the trophy cup to make it like “new”. 🙂
Oh, heck, I just used up the last of my gold nail polish touching up Gold Mia and Gold Tia!!!

I found a Chick Hicks Chase package with “The King” Piston Cup today at a TRU in Northern Virginia.
I have seen Chick Hicks Piston Cup in Dinoco McQueen.. I am sure there are plenty more mix ups out there..

Details, yes, but why is Dinoco McQueen missing the “Dinoco” sponsoring on the rear spoiler? It was there in the pictures of the prototype from SDCC, but it’s not there on the final version. So it doesn’t match the McQueen pictured on the card, either. It’s really somewhat disappointing. It’s not a small detail either, in my opinion anyway.
