Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Tokyo Mater – Ninja Knockout Track set
Now officially called the Tokyo Mater: Ninja Knockout Track set.
Comes with plastic Dragon McQueen and launcher …
Of course, the coolest part is it comes with Mr. Crane …
McQueen lands on the ramp on the ramp, triggers and trips over the two plastic blue cars and speeds on his way.
The two plastic blue cars are the “ninjas” that dragon McQueen knocks out on his way …
Mr. Crane is all plastic but nicely detailed and looks to be in scale …
Mr. Crane doesn’t do a lot but he does pivot … I do not believe the arm raises and lowers … you can remove the pipe holder but not the pipes …
Probably be out when the Toyko Mater CARS start coming out – the post holiday toy reset in February-March?

I found, at Disney Store today. Very nice, playset!

Looks great but its only at Target so not great for folks in the wild like us.
I’ve been avoiding showing the kids the pictures that we took at SDCC and then when the oldest reads this site, I get in trouble with her.. 😆
I have purposely been avoiding showing my son the pictures from SDCC with crane Frank in them and now I will have to avoid this post too. I know he will freak out when he sees this and will non-stop ask if crane Frank is out yet. So, Met, if you could stop posting pictures of crane Frank that would be appreciated. 🙂

Or what about single ninjas, to re-enact the fight that Lightning Dragon McQueen had against the ninja gang in Quentin Toyota-tino’s cult hit, ‘Kill Buick?’

Another play set that we MUST HAVE!!! I remember looking at this in the SDCC display and it looks awesome. I can’t wait, er umm, I mean — Tyler will love it! 😀
yeah, I thought that they looked pretty stinkin’ cool when I saw them at SDCC too!!!!!
also, in the grand sceme of character design Pixar offers its viewers, Mr. So called Crane is somewhat boring

Have you seen the latest playsets at Target? Lightning’s eyes are stickers, and he looks awful!
Agreed. I would buy 3 or 4 ninjas, just like buying multiple stormtroopers!

I am still waiting to see the Mater the Greater set in the WILD. If it is cool, something tells me this one will be GREAT as well!
