Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: More, More, More Box Sets
In addition to the 4-packs of Racers and the Crew Chiefs & Pitty’s box set, there is also a 9-pack coming … most likely a pallet for WM or for one of the warehouse clubs like this 10-pack from 2007 that was a Sam’s Club exclusive.
What will be on it? In it? A chance to get caught up on Target classics CARS? More townies? The return of the blimp? 🙂
Will it reach across the aisle to include Mater Tall Tales or Christmas CARS?
We should find out in early September as the warehouse clubs tend to reset for Christmas pretty early …

The new cars should be released as singles eventualy, but this pack could be a chance to get the cars earlier, with nice packaging too, maybe even a radiator springs sign to fit behind the cars, it should be plastic and in scale.

I was going to bet that 4 of the cars in the set would be: Tach-O-Mint, Apple #84, Rev-N-Go, and Gask-Its!
Now, that would be a “dream team” of a set, wouldn’t it?
But then it turned to a nightmare when we realized that they would be “lenticular”!

Al Oft, Cactus and Ghostlight. (all sold at the same time at WM )

There’s an eBay offering of a SOS set built from non SOS retail Cars, not including Apple. So, it is not necessarily as remote as you think! Thirty three Cars @ $3.97 each! Hmmm!
